Indoor

The Barrel and Brass Ladies Bar

Unique with its oak Brandy Barrel, brass ornaments and horse leathers, this bar has a vibrant and warm atmosphere. During the winter months it is enhanced by a coal fire that burns at night in a large fireplace.

The Curio and Gift Shop

Situated in the foyer, this shop sells local arts, pottery, clothes, leather goods, souvenirs, sweets, jewellery, toiletries etc.

The Lounge

Here, our country hospitality extends even further. During winter months a large fire crackles away. Local and international magazines and a limited library is available for those who wish to indulge in a period of quiet reading.

The Tudor Room

The Tudor Room seats up to 150 guests and has an unrivalled reputation for its fine table.

Day Visitors / Sunday Lunch

Visitors are most welcome with prior arrangement but we kindly request that you do not bring your own food or beverage as we are a licensed premises.

Sundays are very special when we serve our legendary lamb on the spit and carvery buffet between 13h00 and 14h30 from the braai area adjacent to the covered veranda. With inclement weather it is moved to the Tudor Room.

Because of our proximity to Gauteng most day visitors make it a day‘s outing and in addition to lunch they also book Spa treatments and/or Canopy tours.

PLEASE NOTE: Avoid disappointment and make separate and prior reservations for all the products ie; Hotel, Health Spa, Sunday Lunch or Canopy Tours.
